I attended my first Lindy in the Mall of the Christmas season. I had a wonderful time even though things didn't go as planned.

Lindy in the Mall got off to a slow start. Security moved the dancing area from in front of JC Penneys to be in front of the Barnes and Noble Bookstore near the food court. So dancing didn't get started until about 1:30 pm. There were four of us to begin with; Andy, Cliff, Nate and me. Needless to say, I had plenty of dance partners all to my self.

Do you want to dance? Sure!

Soon were we joined by the tall Matt Johnson, Kevin and Michael.


Linda, do you want to dance? I don't know. Kevin, do you want to dance?

Finding a dance partner wasn't hard. In fact, I was dancing so much I had to take a break. Then, to save the day, Sarah, Becky and Crystal showed up! Woohoo!

On Saturday, Ruth and I had a personal dance lesson with Nate. We decided to learn the Shimsham. Ruth knew most of the steps, but agreed that should she would like to learn them again. We practiced the dance for an hour and half. I finally felt like I knew what I was doing. Thank you, Nate. You are a wonderful dance instuctor.

I had a great time dancing in the mall. Thanks to all of the guys who had to dance with me.
