Crash and burn
I did something this week that I have not done in over ten years. I drank a 20 oz bottle of Mountain Dew. Yes, I kid you not. For those of you who might know me, this is big. For those of you who don't know me, this is big. I am hyper enough as it is and adding fuel to the fire does not produce good results. It makes me worse.
I gave up drinking soda for Lent two years ago but I needed one this week so I went for the most powerful drink that I could handle and I took the plunge. It was great! But, with this wonderful, delightful, oral sensation of being naughty comes the bad side....crashing. And this is what happened to me today. I crashed at work so hard that I left early to come home and take nap. A two and half hour nap to be exact. I have effectively recharged my batteries and I am ready to go.
Note to self: If I ever do this again, wait for the weekend. Then I can drink all the caffeine that I want and crash at home. :)reportwriter

That's cute. You on caffeine. That must have been an interesting sight. Congradulations on your new plung.
I tend to stick with water myself. Caffeine will give me a quick boost but then put me right to sleep. It's wierd.
